Theopetra Cave Documentation and Education Center
Theopetra cave constitutes one of the most important prehistoric sites in Europe, not only due to its important finds, but also due to the wide chronological spectrum of human occupation there (about 130,000 years), spanning from the Middle Palaeolithic to the end of the Neolithic period.
The purpose of the Center is to promote the cultural wealth of the cave and to give visitors the opportunity to familiarize with the notions of archaeology and prehistory.
At the specially built educational applications room visitors of various ages will be able to get information about Greek prehistory and Theopetra cave, throughvideos and interactive applications that were designed to combine knowledge and fun.
