The Poulko Mansion in Siatista
Built between 1752-1759, the mansion of Pulkos is an excellent example of urban architecture of the 18th century, witness to the flourishing of the cities of Western Macedonia. The impressive frescoes that decorate the walls indicate the wealth but also the cosmopolitan mood of the owners of the mansion, reflecting the trends of the era and incorporating local peculiarities.
The catalogue which was designed and edited by Polyptychon is the epilogue of a demanding restoration project carried out by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Imathia.
