Located on the lower slopes of Mount Olympus, only 90 km from the city of Thessaloniki and just a ten-minute drive from the impressive Archaeological site of Dion, the archaeological park of Livithra is the latest addition to the fascinating cultural destinations of Pieria region.

The thematic park aims to a cognitive and experiential contact of the visitor with ancient Leivithra and the wider area of the legendary Mount Olympus, as well as with everyday life in antiquity. It has a pedagogical – ‘recreational’ purpose, achieved through educational programs, workshops and cultural events, utilizing the natural and cultural heritage of the Olympus area.
